'Wheel of Fortune' Fans Ask Network to Start a Rerun of the Show

Fans of "Wheel of Fortune" want the show to have a rerun and made their feelings known on social media following an announcement made by the game show organizers.

Fans are the major reason why most television shows and series are successful, and without them, there would be no such shows in the first place.

Fans of "Wheel of Fortune" are showing the power they have by asking for a rerun of the show. This development arose after the game show announced that the week's episode would be delayed or preempted.

The delay or preemption of the episodes is to make way for special coverage of ABC World News. The game show further asked its viewers to set their DVR and local listings to avoid missing the special coverage.

"Wheel of Fortune" also asked fans unable to watch the show to check their spin ID via a link provided. Following the announcement, several fans replied, stating their dissatisfaction with the development. One fan wrote:

"...just watched 2 hours about the virus, and instead of giving us something to take our minds off it, they replay the same news program. Pass."

Another fan who was also disgruntled with the announcement commented by saying that he wasn't happy with the development, while a third person said they had watched the show on their NBC affiliate.

Meanwhile, another fan who wasn't reacting to the tweet made by the game show echoed the feelings of many other fans by asking that there should be a rerun of the show.

Coronavirus has negatively affected many TV shows and series, especially shows that have live audiences.

In a tweet, the fan suggested that since many television shows were now showing their reruns, Wheel of Fortune should have a throwback and replay some of their earlier shows.

Furthermore, the fan added that there could be a contest where fans get to guess how many Dalmatians are bought in a week.

"Wheel of Fortune" didn't reply, but could probably be looking into the suggestion, and exploring more ways to enhance viewer experience amid the coronavirus pandemic.
