Jill Duggar And Derick Dillard Skip Another Duggar Family Holiday, Sparking Feud Rumors With The Cou

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard skipped out on another Duggar holiday. After missing out on the family’s Christmas celebrations, the two failed to show up at the Duggars house for Valentine’s Day — sparking rumors that their ongoing feud with Jill’s family is far from over.

As Counting On fans are well aware, the Duggars tend to celebrate holidays a little differently than most couples. While the majority of people in the world spend Valentine’s Day with their significant others, the Duggars make it a family affair. This year was no different, and Jana Duggar gave fans an inside look at the festivities via Instagram.

Jana posted a lengthy note on her newly created Instagram account detailing how her family spent Valentine’s Day. The Counting On star also shared photos of the event and it looked like everyone had a blast spending the day together. Fans were quick to notice that Jill and Derick were not in any of the photos, which only added more fuel to the feud rumors.

“Our family is trying to start a new tradition for Valentine’s Day (which we celebrated a few days early),” Jana explained, later adding, “I think each of my family members would say, this by far was one of the most meaningful times we’ve had together as a family.”

When fans asked Jana why Jill and Derick didn’t make it to the family holiday, she revealed that they had “prior commitments.” Jana did not elaborate any further and it is totally possible that Jill and Derick had made conflicting plans. But there could be another reason why they skipped the party.

Derick’s controversial history may be why the two haven’t been attending Duggar family events. As fans will recall, Derick was booted from Counting On after sharing transphobic comments on social media. With that in mind, the Duggars may have told him to keep a low profile, at least until some more time has passed.

That said, just about all of the Duggars made it to the family holiday, including Josh Duggar, whose molestation scandal led to the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting. We do not know if the feud rumors are true, but it’s pretty clear that something isn’t right between the Dillards and Duggars.
