It’s not everyday that an A-list celebrity takes the time to give honest answers about what daily life is like when you have famous friends, a staff of people who are paid to do everything for you, and the money to buy pretty much anything you want. But, Chrissy Teigen isn’t afraid to get real with her fans, and she took to Twitter earlier this week for “celebrity question asking time” so her 12.1 million followers could ask anything they wanted to know.
Teigen started out with a picture of her organized “junk drawer” after a fan asked if celebrities have one, and guessed that Tiegen would, but Kim Kardashian wouldn’t. The Lip Sync Battle co-host also said it’s good to be a celebrity because she is comfortable and has an awesome life and zero life at the same time.

The mom-of-two also gave some insight on what it’s like to wear expensive dresses, and she said that she has worn a lot of them in her life, but she’s always had to give them back. She also revealed that since having her kids Luna, 3, and Max, 1, she is no longer a sample size, so Teigen has to buy almost everything she wears, and then she sells the items on TheRealReal and donates the money to charity.
The one “normal” thing Teigen misses is going to the grocery store, but she does still try sometimes. She also gave insight on how to get a restaurant reservation.
“I make reservations and don’t give them the option to say no,” explained Teigen. “‘Hi it’s Chrissy Teigen and id like to make a reservation for 2 for John legend, do you have any availability?’ if you just say ‘hi can I make a reservation for 2?’ they say no. gotta say it all at once.”
Teigen then dished on what it’s like to travel when you’re a celebrity, and she revealed that there is a secret terminal at the airport that they pay membership for. She added that they have private security that take you to the plane in a car.

Another fan asked if celebrities actually talk to each other, or do they go through their assistants. Teigen said that sometimes she will ask a publicist for someone’s info to text. But, she usually doesn’t talk to many people because she doesn’t want them to think she’s “a thirsty weirdo.”
Teigen also revealed that she has a house manager who works at her home everyday to handle their day-to-day business, packages, and scheduling for household staff. And, she and her husband, John Legend, also have a personal accountant to handle their bills and monitor their spending.
“I have a business accountant who handles everything and sends me summaries of my spending/income. I don’t get mail,” Teigen explained.

The 34-year-old is also concerned about security, and says her “house is a fortress.” And, she admitted that even though she always has staff around her, she doesn’t hide anything. Chrissy Teigen says she will fight in cars, at home, and at the airport because she doesn’t care and John Legend won’t fight back.
