An Aldi shopper couldn’t believe their luck when they found the ultimate dupe for a popular Jo Malone perfume. TikTok user @bethwainwrightt shared the find in a video, showing off the sleek packaging.
She branded Aldi ’s ‘No.39 Poppy & Barley Eau de Parfum’ dupe “unreal” and costs just £6.99 for 100ml. Jo Malone’s cologne with the same scent sells for a whopping £110 for 100ml, with their 30ml-sized option sold for £55.
The perfume is a part of the supermarket’s Hotel Collection, which is now also selling a dupe of The White Company’s giant six-wick candle, as well as diffusers and hand soap. Costing just £6.99 it’s a fraction of the original’s price.

Beth captioned her video: “Aldi new Jo Malone dupe is in stores Poppy & Barley smells unreal.”
The video racked up over 13,600 views, 120 likes and eight comments. One viewer couldn’t believe the find, saying: “Omg no way my fav Jo malone,” to which Beth replied, “It’s so good isn’t it, smells exact too.”
Another viewer shared their own comparison, writing: “Smells exactly like flower by kenzo.”
A third said: “I need to go !!!”
Aldi’s Hotel Collection also includes dupes of other Jo Malone scents including ‘No.16 Bergamot Oud’, ‘No.11 Peony Blush’ and ‘No.40 Myrrh & Sweet Tonka’. The supermarket’s Hotel Collection recently launched XXL Inclusion Candles, weighing 4.5kg for 74 per cent cheaper than The White Company’s iconic originals.
The supermarket’s Hotel Collection Inclusion Candles will be back too, featuring scents of Paradise, White Pearls and Winter Spice. The new XXL candles will be available in store from Sunday, November 6, and will set you back just £24.99.
